Romanticism in Monsoon
You may get bored in rain, incessant rain. It can bring misery to your daily life. For poets, it comes differently in their thoughts. Monsoon indulges them to find words praising their love. Are they worshipers of the beauty of nature or their lovers? Songs of Barsha (Monsoon), mesmerize Bangladeshi listeners greatly. The lyrics made of joy and sorrow touch the hearts and minds of their listeners. Great poets Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam created a different structure of Barsha music with lyrics, tunes and compositions in their respective styles.
